OUR BENEFICIARY
The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation
We are proud to work with The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation as our sole beneficiary.
The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation honors the life and legacy of Andrew McDonough. The Foundation was born after athlete and ‘A’ student, Andrew McDonough, battled leukemia, septic shock and complications of childhood cancer for 167 days. He passed away on July 14, 2007, at the age of 14. Andrew’s B+ blood type became his family and friends’ motto throughout his fight against childhood cancer — to “Be Positive.”
The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation is all about Kids Helping Kids Fight Cancer. The B+ Foundation provides financial and emotional support to families of kids affected by cancer nationwide, and funds critical, cutting-edge childhood cancer research.

Our B+ Heroes
UDance believes that college students have the ability to change the landscape of childhood cancer. UDance participants change the world by raising funds and awareness for the fight against childhood cancer.
One of the most important parts of UDance’s partnership with The B+ Foundation is the emotional support provided by University of Delaware students for the B+ Heroes. The B+ Heroes are paired with Greek chapters, athletic teams, Registered Student Organizations, and residence halls at UD. Through the pairings, the UD students are able to form long-lasting friendships and provide hope to these children. We dance for our B+ Heroes.
