Fundraising Templates
UDance’s donors are providing direct and immediate financial aid for families affected by childhood cancer. When fundraising, we suggest using the provided templates to raise funds while articulating UDance’s mission to your donors! We have provided general templates, as well as templates for reaching out to specific members of your community. We encourage you to use our ‘thank you’ template to thank your donors for their support and dedication to our fight!

FACEBOOK FUNDRAISER
We recommend utilizing the Facebook Fundraiser feature as well. Enter the charity as The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, and email a screenshot of the fundraiser to Hugh McLaughlin once complete. The donations will then be moved to your personal UDance fundraising page!
Henvelopes is one of the best ways to reach out to donors while making a personal impact. By mailing letters to family members, friends, teachers, and others, your fundraising goal will become that much more attainable! The average donation from a Blue Henvelope is $67.
Fill out THIS FORM if you want to pickup your Blue Henvelopes from the UDance Office (Perkins 19D) and write them yourself.
Fill out THIS FORM if you’d like a member of the UDance Executive Board to mail your henvelope on your behalf.

Gift Card Initiative
Fill this letter out and go to one of the stores listed below and ask to speak to the store manager! Hand this letter to them, give them some background about what UDance is, and ask if they would be willing to support our cause by donating a gift card to purchase items that we are unable to get donated. No matter the outcome, make sure to thank them for their time!
If you do receive a gift card, please reach out to the Community Outreach Team, and bring any gift cards to the UDance Office in the Perkins Student Center (19D).

Fundraising Tips
There are plenty of ways to fundraise throughout the year! We’ve listed out just a few ideas for individual fundraisers below.

Raffle off any product, merchandise, etc. that you’d like!
As an example, one entry could equal $5, etc.

Sell something you know how to make, and transfer all proceeds to your UDance page!

Email past teachers, coaches professors, and donors using our templates.

While spending time with your family over the winter break, make sure to tell your family about UDance, ask them if their company matches, or if they would be interested in a corporate sponsorship.
Cool Corporate Connections (CCC) is a UDance effort to receive more event sponsors using student connections. This could be a connection from a previous internship, a family member's place of employment, a friend of a friend or anyone who could potentially be interested in donating to UDance! Along with that, all successful CCC donations will be allocated to your personal fundraising page.
