Thank you for making UDance 2022 a success!
This past Sunday, April 24th, UDance finally returned to The Bob Carpenter Center for our 12-hour dance marathon for the first time since 2019. We shared laughs, smiles, and 12 hours of dancing with our B+ Heroes and families At the end of the night, we revealed the fundraising total for UDance 2022!
Thanks to all of our participants and donors this year, we raised $1,814,429.68 for our B+ Heroes. But, we won’t stop until every child gets to play.
Throughout the 12 hours of dancing we had a hair donation station, silent disco, a line dance every hour, B+ Hero talent show, student and community performers, participant competitions, flash fundraising, rave hour, and more!

B+ Hero Darren & Pi Kappa Phi hyped up the crowd with the song ‘Fancy Like’
B+ Hero Emily sang ‘Could Have Been Me’ with the UD Gymnastics team by her side
B+ Hero Demira nailed every stunt with the University of Delaware Cheer team
B+ Hero Riley & her friend, Lilly performed a beautiful dance duet alongside her sister of Tri Delta
B+ Hero Mateo showed off his guitar skills with Alpha Phi Omega by his side
B+ Hero Kate shared the stage with Alpha Epsilon Phi & wowed the audience with her cello performance

HAIR DONATIONS
UDance Executive Director, Carlie Gallagher and Event Operations Director, Kailey Schissler kicked off the many hair donations to come by participating in the Ceremonial Hair Cutting on stage!

PARTICIPANT COMPETITIONS
UDance participants and representatives stirred up some friendly competition on stage! They competed in cup stacking, eating cookies with no hands, a human version of ‘Hungry Hungry Hippos’, and more!
